📅 You’ve been meaning to sort it… so why not start with a conversation?

Estate planning can feel like a big job, but getting started doesn’t have to be complicated.

A consultation is simply an opportunity to talk through your circumstances, the people you want to protect and what you’d like to happen in the future — without all the confusing jargon.

Whether you’re thinking about a Will, Trust or Lasting Power of Attorney, we can look at what matters to you and discuss the options available.

No two families are the same.
Your estate plan shouldn’t be either.

Ready to stop saying “I’ll get around to it”?

💭 Think estate planning is something you only need to worry about when you’re older? Think again.

Buying your first home. Getting married. Starting a family. Building savings. Growing a business.

Life can change quickly — and estate planning is about making sure your wishes keep up with it.

You don’t need to be wealthy, retired or at a certain stage of life to start planning. A Will and other estate planning arrangements can help you decide what happens to the things you’ve worked for and make your wishes clearer for the people you care about.

The question isn’t “Am I old enough to need estate planning?”

It’s…

“If something happened to me, would the people I love know exactly what I wanted?” 👀

Planning today can give you more choice and greater peace of mind for tomorrow.

📌 Save this for later, send it to someone who keeps saying “I’ll sort it one day”, and follow Kelly Armstrong Estate Planning for straightforward estate planning advice without the confusing jargon.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 If you have children, your Will is about far more than money.

It can help make sure the people you trust are the ones considered to care for your children if the worst were to happen, and it allows you to set out how you want your estate to be dealt with.

It’s one of those things that’s easy to keep putting off because nobody really wants to think about it.

But making a plan now can give you something much more important later: clarity, control and peace of mind.

Ask yourself this:

If something happened to you tomorrow, would everything be set out the way you’d want it to be?

If the answer is “I’m not sure”, it may be worth reviewing your plans.

💭 “I’ve already made a Will… but what if things have changed?”

Good news — your Will doesn’t have to stay frozen in time.

Life changes. You might get married, welcome children or grandchildren, move home, see your finances change… or simply change your mind about what you want.

And when life changes, it’s worth checking whether your Will still reflects your wishes. ✍️

⚠️ One particularly important point: marriage or civil partnership can revoke an existing Will in England & Wales, unless that Will was made in contemplation of that specific marriage or civil partnership.

So making a Will isn’t necessarily a “do it once and forget about it” job.

Already have one? Ask yourself:

If my Will was followed tomorrow, would I still be happy with everything it says?

If you’re not completely sure, it might be time for a review.

📌 Save this as a reminder — and follow Kelly Armstrong Estate Planning for straightforward, jargon-free information about Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

👀 What actually goes on behind an estate planning business?

Spoiler: it’s a lot more than writing Wills.

Behind every document is a real person, a real family and a different set of circumstances.

A big part of what I do is simply listen — understanding what matters to you, explaining your options without the confusing jargon, and helping put a plan in place that reflects what you actually want.

Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney might sound serious (and they are!)… but talking about them doesn’t have to be daunting.

That’s exactly why I started this page — to make estate planning feel simpler, clearer and a little less intimidating.

If you’d like straightforward tips that actually make sense, follow along — there’s plenty more coming. 👋

What’s one thing about Wills or estate planning you’ve always wondered but never asked?

💭 When you think about making a Will… what are you actually thinking about?

For most people, it isn’t the document itself.

It’s their family. Their home. Their children. The things they’ve worked hard for. And knowing their wishes are clear.

A Will allows you to set out what you want to happen after you die — including who should inherit your estate, who you want to deal with it, and who you would like to care for your children if they’re under 18.

Without a valid Will, the law decides who inherits under the rules of intestacy — and that might look very different from what you had in mind.

Making a Will can feel like something for “later”…

But having your wishes written down can bring reassurance now.

Have you made your Will yet?
👇 Yes, no, or “it’s on my list” — let me know in the comments.

📄 5 Reasons Every Adult Should Consider a Will

A Will isn’t just something to think about later in life. It’s an important part of planning ahead and making your wishes clear.

Having a valid Will can help you:

1️⃣ Decide who inherits your money, property and possessions.
2️⃣ Appoint executors you trust to administer your estate.
3️⃣ Appoint guardians for your children, where the legal requirements are met.
4️⃣ Give your loved ones greater clarity at what can already be a difficult time.
5️⃣ Keep control of your wishes, rather than your estate being distributed under the rules of intestacy.

Whatever your age or circumstances, it’s worth considering whether you have the right plans in place for the future.

At Kelly Armstrong Estate Planning, we provide friendly, straightforward support with Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney, helping you understand your options and plan with confidence.
