This week had been a mixture of work from new and existing customers

A new request was to build a pull up bar for a gent in his garden

And..

An exiting customer wanted a metal framed open carport enclosed to offer a more secure and usable space. A great improvement and vastly cheaper than removing and building a garage

One of our larger external decoration jobs completed this week at William Barber's Almshouses. A beautiful grade 2 listed building.

Works undertaken included;

🪟Re puttying of windows and red oxide undercoated, as required

💧Removal, clean and re instate guttering

🚪Treat rot and replace/fill decayed wood

Then the painting began...🎨

🚪 6 external doors
🪟 16 windows of various sizes and detail
🪜 Facia around the entire building
⛓️ 11 sets of external wall railings

The last 3 weeks have been busy...Bathroom renovation complete 😮‍💨

One of our more involved projects to date, as required a full re model internally and drainage re worked outside...but what a lovely end result for the family.

🚿 Walls stripped back, brick pillar removed, walls and ceiling re plastered

🚿 Outside drainage and soil stack re worked to accommodate re positioning of the toilet, vanity and shower

🚿 Pipework chased into the wall and floor to improve aesthetic's of the room

🚿 New chrome spotlights installed, replacing a centre light. Thanks to Ramstead Electrical

🚿 Door re hung the opposite side to allow a better flow and new skirting and architrave installed

🚿 Lovely walk in shower with brushed chrome niche, large profile porcelain tiles and rainfall shower with handset

🚿 Vanity unit installed with Grohë monobloc tap

🚿 Rimless white close coupled WC

🚿 Large chrome towel rail to ensure effective heat and drying

🚿 Glass window cill covers to give that chic touch

🚿 Fully re decorated in ZINSSER and Dulux Trade paints

It's been a busy few weeks with a mix of works from both my domestic and commercial customers. It's a tough climate so appreciate their business 🙏

So, the big project last week was to re configure a bedroom/ensuite. Turning a small en suite into a much larger area with a stand out walk in shower...great transformation and what an impressive upgrade for a lovely couple 🤩. Walk through video on my page.

🔷 1500x760 Mira Flight tray fitted with 10mm enclosure screen

🔷 Mira rainfall and handset shower

🔷 Multipanel shower panels, quality! Finished off with a light grey sealant complimenting the panel

🔷 Upgraded extractor fan and re positioned light

🔷 Bedroom wardrobe removed as well as partition wall and door way. Re designed to allow the above.

🔷 New basin tap and spalshback

Then following on...

From a previous bathroom project, a family member required a repair on their gable end facia. Rotten wood cut out, timber treated and new timber fitted and decorated. A solid job to get them through whilst they decide on future works 💪🏻

Finally...

New rear entrance gate for a commercial customer supplied and fitted to improve the security of the premises. Also various internal jobs undertaken.

Also whilst there rescuing 5 ducks stuck between the 2 neighbouring buildings.....don't ask 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆

Kitchen refit completed for a family in Diss. The customer wanted to update their kitchen with a new look and but at a sensible price whilst maintaining the current tiling on the walls and floor.

A great choice made by the customer to go with the Witney pebble fronts and light oak carcasses, supplied by Howdens. The kitchen was designed to include a breakfast bar to give them additional seating and a modern look.
