👋👋 It's been a while and I've had quite a few new people following me on here... So here's a reintroduction 👋👋
Hi everyone my name is Natalie, I'm a Consultant in Special Care Dentistry and Clinical Director splitting my time between London & Kent
I've been running my own blog for over 10 years. Between the summer of finishing dental school and starting my foundation year I was sitting around with nothing to do, with no money and I thought how can I share information about career journeys and experiences in dentistry... A Tooth Germ was born! 10 years and over 1 million page views later, my site is still running, albeit I don't get to post as much as I used to!
I've had so many experiences in my career so far working in different settings and different teams: from practice, community dentistry, hospitals, non-clinical roles, the voluntary sector, emergency dentistry.... And it's all contributed to the person, clinician and professional I am today!
Between my roles of Consultant, Clinical Director of a charity, Committee Chair, MCN deputy chair, blogger and associate, I'll be chasing my toddler about the place, trying to catch up on sleep or you'll find me at the Rock Show 🤘🤘
