Motivated individual needed for the role of Workshop Engineer at John Hanlon & Company. The vacancy available is at our Head Office in Bedfordshire.
We require a skilled individual to work on our fleet of heavy plant and construction equipment, upholding our reputation for high quality. The role includes maintaining health and safety standards and other roles as seen fit by Workshop Manager.

Roles being:
• Modifying machines according to guidelines and specifications
• Performing all forms of repair and servicing to machines
• Contributing to the repair, overhaul, and diagnosis of plant equipment
• Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for self and others through a clear understanding of workplace safety requirements and systems
• Ensuring administration and paperwork is completed effectively and on time as and when required
• Working in accordance with the company quality assurance guidelines
• Using initiative and taking appropriate action to ensure good housekeeping standards are followed and maintained.
As well as undertaking such duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the Company.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive

Benefits:
• Weekends/Overtime available at increased rates
• Company pension

Schedule:
• Monday to Friday

Requirements
• Must be able to travel to client premises across the UK

We require a skilled individual to work on our fleet of heavy plant and construction equipment, upholding our reputation for high quality. The role includes maintaining health and safety standards and other roles as seen fit by Workshop Manager.

Roles being:
• Preparing Machines and/or parts by abrasive blast cleaning, sanding, filling and priming surfaces
• Performing all forms of repair and painting of machines
• Fabrication work, including cutting shaping and melding of metal components to repair machines
• Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for self and others through a clear understanding of workplace safety requirements and systems
• Ensuring administration and paperwork is completed effectively and on time as and when required
• Working in accordance with the company quality assurance guidelines
• Using initiative and taking appropriate action to ensure good housekeeping standards are followed and maintained.
As well as undertaking such duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the Company.

Training/Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 in Paint Spraying and Fabrication or proven equivalent experience

The Role

We are looking for the right candidate to fill the permanent role of Customer Service Desk Assistant. The job plays a key role in supporting the busy Service Team Manager by interacting with new and established customers. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth running of our department by overseeing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

•First point of contact for all customer enquiries

•Assisting the Service Team with day-to-day administration
