The Team is working together to keep momentum moving, with a major furniture order now placed with Carpet World, Barrow-in-Furness 🌎 and the external works really starting to take shape while the weather stays on our side.

🏛 The Canteen on Michaelson Road is an exciting new project being delivered by BlueVision’s Major Projects division.

Designed to be a fantastic space for local residents and BAE Systems employees, The Canteen will offer quality food 🥙 in a welcoming environment. The venue will also include meeting rooms, providing a flexible space for events, professional functions, and community use.

Exciting progress at Castle House Luxury Apartments, Walney Island 🏗️✨

The development is well underway, with the accommodation really starting to take shape. It’s fantastic to see the vision coming together, and we’re looking forward to sharing the next stages as we move into completing the interiors, bathrooms, exterior finishes, and fresh new signage.

Job Title: General Labourer (initially – 2 to 3 Months but could develop to full time

Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team on a busy construction site for a period of 2 to 3 months. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to fast-paced projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* General site cleaning and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment
* Assisting and supporting tradesmen with day-to-day labouring tasks
* Removal and disposal of existing building materials into skips
* Moving materials and equipment around site as required
* Carrying out general all-site duties as directed by the site manager
* picking up of materials
* basic general maintenance tasks

Requirements:

* Previous experience working on a construction site is preferred but not essential
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
* Good work ethic and reliability
* CSCS card (preferred/required – amend as necessary)
* driving license preferred but not essential for the right candidate

What We Offer:

* Immediate start available

...We’re well underway with the development of the accommodation at the Castle House Hotel, Walney 🌞 and it’s exciting to see these rooms really starting to take shape in time for a launch before the World Cup ⚽️

With high ceilings and a planned luxury specification, the finished rooms will offer an extra touch of comfort and luxury for future guests, including the addition of baths 🛁 in selected rooms.
