This free UN course on Climate Change and Human Rights explains why climate action must be grounded in human rights principles. Learners will explore how human rights obligations shape climate mitigation, adaptation, loss and damage, climate negotiations, national and regional action, and climate litigation. By the end, participants will better understand how rights-based, participatory climate action can lead to more effective, fair, and sustainable outcomes.
Note: The certificate will cost something from 31 July forward. If you would like to get the certificate for free please complete the course before that date.
