As you know, our University has been working on the rehabilitation of degraded natural resources in the Lake Haramaya watershed for more than a decade, in collaboration with the local community and, at the time, the Haramaya district administration and now the Maya City Administration, and has achieved fruitful results so far. Currently, the University is engaged in preparatory work for this year’s green legacy initiatives in collaboration with the Maya City Agriculture Office.

Hence, our University’s community has kindly requested to attend this year’s green legacy campaign, which will be conducted on August 3, 2026, by traveling to the Ware site located in Becheke Kebele. The transport service will be ready, and the journey to the plantation site will start from the parking lot in the morning at 8:00 am.
