⚖️ The Spanish Supreme Court has annulled the national short-term rental registry, ruling that the central government exceeded its authority by creating a system that overlaps with existing regional registries.

The Court confirmed that regional governments hold exclusive powers over tourism regulation, while maintaining the validity of the digital single window and data-sharing obligations for online platforms.

This decision is especially relevant for owners and managers of tourist accommodations, as it may affect current registration and compliance requirements across Spain.
