Eso me dicen muchos alumnos cuando empiezan.
Y yo, medio en broma, siempre contesto:
—𝘖𝘩, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦? 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦! (y les “entrego” un frasquito invisible).

Pero la verdad es que no me necesitan a mí.
Lo que necesitan es tener claras sus ideas. Conocer las expresiones clave.
Y practicar hasta que lo puedan decir sin dudar.

𝗠𝗶 𝗼𝗯𝗷𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗼 𝗻𝗼 𝗲𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗶́.
Es darles las herramientas para que puedan hablar con seguridad,
porque el conocimiento ya lo tienen. Ellos son los verdaderos profesionales.

Yo solo les ayudo a que el idioma no sea un obstáculo.
Ni en una reunión, ni en un email, ni con un cliente extranjero.

La confianza no siempre está al principio.
Pero se entrena. Se construye.
Y si al comienzo necesitan “pedir prestada” la mía, encantada.
Pero la idea es que al final sea toda suya.

En el Legal English Accelerator (LEA), creemos que cuando juntas a personas con intereses comunes, todo fluye mejor.
Durante una edición pensada especialmente para estudiantes de Derecho de último año y del Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía, surgió un equipo que brilló con luz propia: 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 — Aina, Paula, Silvia y Luisa.
Se llevaron el premio 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲 por su participación constante, su entusiasmo contagioso y las ganas de ir siempre un paso más allá.
Gracias por recordarnos que el futuro del Derecho también se construye con actitud, compromiso y buen inglés jurídico.

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗸 — Lorena, Belén y Ana Mª — se llevó el premio Captivating Stars por sus presentaciones impecables, su claridad al expresarse y la manera en que demostraron su 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘦 con naturalidad.

En el Legal English Accelerator (LEA) formamos grupos por afinidad para que el aprendizaje del inglés jurídico sea también una experiencia de conexión real.
Uno de esos equipos fue 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 & 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺, integrado por Adriana, Marina y Almudena, quienes se llevaron el premio 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗻𝗲, 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹. Desde el primer Zoom, crearon un ambiente de apoyo constante, colaboración genuina y energía positiva. Su compromiso mutuo y su evolución conjunta marcaron la diferencia.

I’ve been introducing new grammar areas to my students without books for over 6 years.
In the first sessions with new groups they used to ask: “Which page, teacher?”“Two. Two ears. That’s all you need”, I would say.

Rather than giving a 30 minute speech about grammar, my students tell me what they know about it, we agree on rules and then move on to use the tense with real examples that are going to stick to learners’ brains.

I did this instinctively and I was forever thankful to find out that this method actually works and it is the one used in Neurolanguage Coaching.

The best part is when they say "Now I get it. I don't know why other teachers don't do it like that".

BAIL: the temporary release of an accused person awaiting trial, sometimes on condition that a sum of money is lodged to guarantee their appearance in court.
FLEE: run away from a place or situation of danger.
SPRINT: run at full speed over a short distance.
