For nearly half a century, Afifi Law Firm has played a defining role in shaping the legal and business landscape across Egypt and the wider region. To commemorate this remarkable 45-year milestone, Afifi Law Firm in association with Dentons, hosted a landmark anniversary gala at the extraordinary Grand Egyptian Museum.

Set against one of Egypt’s most iconic cultural landmarks, the celebration brought together senior government officials, ambassadors, global legal leaders, longstanding clients, partners, and distinguished members of the international business community in an evening that reflected both the strength of Afifi’s legacy and the relationships that have shaped its success over the past four decades.

The evening commenced with a short documentary capturing the evolution of Afifi Law Firm from its founding to the present day, followed by keynote remarks delivered by Mr. Amal Afifi, Founding & Managing Partner, who reflected on the firm’s journey, enduring values, and vision for the future.

Distinguished remarks were also delivered by Mr. Mohamed Zaanouni, CEO of Dentons Africa, and Ms. Kate Barton, Global CEO of Dentons, reaffirming the strength of the longstanding Afifi–Dentons relationship and a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and cross-border collaboration.

Bringing together members of the Aviation Working Group network from across Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and Türkiye, the sessions provided a valuable platform for dialogue on the evolving landscape of aviation finance, leasing, and regulatory frameworks across the region.

The team was pleased to engage with regional peers and contribute to conversations that support continued collaboration within the aviation legal community.

Afifi Law Firm is seeking to recruit two qualified professionals to support the firm’s continued growth and strengthen its marketing and business development capabilities.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

- Marketing Specialist (2–4 Years of Experience)
Responsible for supporting brand positioning, content development, media relations, and digital marketing initiatives.

- Business Development Specialist (7–10 Years of Experience)
Responsible for supporting business development initiatives, preparing pitches and proposals, conducting market research, and managing legal directory and award submissions.

We are looking for candidates with strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a professional environment, and experience in professional services or B2B environments is preferred.
