The Supreme People's Court Releases 2023 Typical Cases of National Maritime Trials

6月8日，最高人民法院发布2023年全国海事审判典型案例。本批典型案例共5件，包括“利比里亚某公司与印度尼西亚某公司船舶买卖合同纠纷案”等。
On June 8, the Supreme People's Court issued the 2023 National Typical Cases in Maritime Trial. This batch includes 5 cases, including "Dispute over Ship Sale and Purchase Contract between a Company in Liberia and a Company in Indonesia" ,etc.
这些案例彰显了海事司法在化解国际海事纠纷、促进海洋经济发展方面发挥的重要作用。
These cases highlight the important role played by maritime justice in resolving international maritime disputes and promoting maritime economic development.

2. 中国、吉尔吉斯斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦三国元首视频祝贺中吉乌铁路项目三国政府间协定签署
The Heads of State of China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan Congratulated the Signing of the Trilateral Intergovernmental Agreement on the Railroad Project by Video

6月6日，中国－吉尔吉斯斯坦－乌兹别克斯坦铁路项目三国政府间协定签字仪式在北京举行，国家主席习近平、吉尔吉斯斯坦总统扎帕罗夫、乌兹别克斯坦总统米尔济约耶夫视频祝贺协定签署。
On June 6, the signing ceremony of the trilateral intergovernmental agreement on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railroad project was held in Beijing, and President Xi Jinping, President Zaparov of Kyrgyzstan, and President Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan congratulated the signing of the agreement by video.
习近平指出，中吉乌铁路是三国共建“一带一路”合作的标志性工程。三国政府间协定的签署，将为中吉乌铁路项目建设提供坚实的法律基础，标志着中吉乌铁路正由设想变为现实。
Xi pointed out that the Railway is a landmark project for the three countries to jointly build the Belt and Road initiative. The signing will provide a solid legal basis for the construction of the railroad project, marking the Railway project from a vision to a reality.

He Rong attends the 11th Meeting of Ministers of Justice of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States

司法部部长贺荣应邀以视频方式出席第十一次上海合作组织成员国司法部长会议并发言。
The Minister of Justice, He Rong, was invited to attend the eleventh meeting of the Ministers of Justice of the member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) by video and to make a statement.
贺荣表示，中国司法部将认真落实历次上海合作组织元首峰会达成的共识，深化各成员国法律和司法行政领域交流合作，以服务高质量共建“一带一路”，更好促进各国经济发展和地区安全稳定。
He states that China's Ministry of Justice will earnestly implement the consensus reached at the summits of the heads of state of the SCO, deepen exchanges and cooperation in the fields of law and administration of justice of member states, to serve The Belt and Road Initiative, also better promote the economic development of all countries and the security and stability of the region.

4.中央宣传部版权管理局启动“青少年版权保护季”行动
National Copyright Administration Launches "Youth Copyright Protection Season" Action

中央宣传部版权管理局会同相关六部门于近日联合启动“青少年版权保护季”行动，严厉整治涉青少年权益的侵权盗版乱象。
The National Copyright Administration, in conjunction with six relevant departments, recently launched the "Youth Copyright Protection Season" campaign, which aims to crack down on copyright infringement and piracy involving the rights and interests of young people.

Launching Event of Matchlawyer Legal Platform successfully held

Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee Office and the Municipal Government Office issued the "Work Plan on Promoting the Application and Development of Legal Science and Technology in Shanghai". This plan aims to promote open data sharing, deepen the application of legal science and technology, and encourage the construction of digital platforms in the legal industry. In line with the goal of actively developing foreign-related legal services, we have launched the MatchLawyer platform. This platform facilitates the matching of professional lawyers from both domestic and international backgrounds, providing assistance to enterprises in resolving problems and challenges.

Traditionally, enterprises face difficulties when traveling overseas, including limited contacts, high fees, and unsatisfactory services. To address these challenges, it is crucial to provide legal protection and early prevention of legal risks for enterprises abroad. Offering access to overseas lawyer data and legal databases is of utmost importance. Our team utilizes internet technology to analyze and match legal resources, enabling enterprises to address legal issues related to international travel. We prioritize reasonable fees, transparent services, and effective communication channels to enhance the functionality of our platform. Leveraging data-driven analysis and the advantages of foreign legal websites, we aim to provide convenient services to meet the overseas travel needs of domestic enterprises.

La Administración Nacional de Inmigración de China lanza nuevas políticas para facilitar aún más la entrada de extranjeros en China

La Administración Nacional de Inmigración de China ha puesto en marcha oficialmente cinco medidas desde el 11 de enero para facilitar la entrada de extranjeros en China. Estas medidas pretenden abordar los retos a los que se enfrentan los extranjeros que vienen a China por negocios, estudios y turismo, garantizando un mejor servicio y salvaguardando la apertura de alto nivel del país al mundo y promoviendo un desarrollo de alta calidad.

La primera medida flexibiliza las condiciones de solicitud de visado para los extranjeros que entran en China en los puertos de entrada. Los extranjeros que necesiten venir urgentemente a China para actividades no diplomáticas y oficiales, como cooperación empresarial, visitas, inversión y emprendimiento, visitas familiares y asuntos personales, y no puedan obtener un visado fuera de China a tiempo, pueden solicitar un visado portuario a las autoridades de visados portuarias basándose en la carta de invitación y otros documentos justificativos pertinentes.

La segunda medida exime a los extranjeros de los procedimientos de inspección durante el tránsito directo de 24 horas en 9 aeropuertos internacionales (Pulse el enlace al final para ver la información detallada). Los pasajeros con billetes de avión internacionales que transiten a un tercer país o región en un plazo de 24 horas por cualquiera de estos aeropuertos están exentos de los procedimientos de control fronterizo y pueden transitar directamente sin visado.

La tercera medida permite a los extranjeros en China solicitar la prórroga y reexpedición del visado en su localidad. Los extranjeros que vengan a China para actividades no diplomáticas u oficiales de corta duración, como cooperación empresarial, visitas, inversión y emprendimiento, visitas familiares, visitas turísticas y asuntos personales, y necesiten prolongar su estancia por motivos válidos y razonables, pueden solicitar la prórroga y reexpedición del visado.

La cuarta medida permite a los extranjeros en China que necesiten entradas múltiples solicitar visados de reentrada. Los extranjeros en China que necesiten entrar o salir del país varias veces por razones legítimas y razonables pueden solicitar la expedición de visados de entrada múltiple presentando la carta de invitación y otros documentos justificativos pertinentes.

La quinta medida simplifica el proceso de solicitud y los requisitos de documentación para visados y otros documentos de inmigración para extranjeros en China. Los extranjeros que soliciten documentos de visado pueden proporcionar información para su verificación a través de los registros disponiblesPara los visados de reagrupación familiar de corta duración, los extranjeros en China pueden presentar una declaración de parentesco en lugar de aportar pruebas de parentesco.
