🏡 The Central Lakes Association of REALTORS® (CLAR) has released its May 2026 housing market statistics, showing a strong and active spring market across the Region.
In Northumberland County, home sales increased by 24.3% compared to April, while new listings rose by 17.3%, providing buyers with more options and contributing to healthy inventory levels. Homes also sold more quickly, reflecting continued buyer confidence and engagement in the market.
📈 Northumberland County Highlights
• 128 homes sold in May, up 24.3% from April (103 sales)
• Average selling price was $695,364, down 2.6% from April
• 380 new listings came to market, a 17.3% increase
• Homes sold in an average of 42 days
CLAR highlighted the importance of addressing housing affordability and welcomed government efforts aimed at reducing development costs and supporting housing supply.
