I can't stress this enough! Please-please tell your travel insurance broker of ANY medication and any diagnosis you may have received in the past! In case of a claim this is very important even if your emergency claim has nothing to do with the diagnosis. They will inquire to your GP and local hospitals if needed.

For instance, you are taking HRT (hormone replacement therapy). It doesnt sound like a "pre-existing condition".

Case Study:
Imagine you're walking down the street in a foreign Country. You're thinking about the therapy, mildly distracted by the thought and therefore your concentration floats away from the path in front of you and you break your foot. Perhaps the medical emergency may not have happened if you were not distracted by a medication you're taking or a diagnosis. Now, the Insurer is on the hook for the bill for something they didn't know existed in you.

**No Insurance company wants to pay money!** 🙏
