Today, we’re celebrating another successful outcome for one of our international student clients! 🙌🏽✨

Our client has been studying in Canada but, due to an unexpected family situation, she needed to relocate to another city and continue her studies at a different institution.
What seemed like a simple school transfer required careful planning. We guided her through the process of transferring her courses and academic credits so she could continue her studies without unnecessarily losing the progress she had already made.
However, there was another important immigration consideration.

Due to IRCC requirements, changing her designated learning institution meant that she needed to obtain a new study permit. This made it important to ensure that her application properly explained her circumstances and that all required documentation was accurately prepared.

Our client arrived in Canada in 2023 to pursue a Certificate in Construction Project Management at Centennial College. After successfully completing her studies, she applied for permanent residence under the Home Support Worker Pilot.

Before retaining our services, she had independently submitted an application for a work permit linked to her permanent residence application. Unfortunately, that application was refused, placing her status in Canada at risk while her permanent residence application remained in process.

When her husband left for Canada to pursue his studies, she believed it was only a matter of time before they would be reunited. Determined to join him, she applied for a visa on her own — not once, but twice. Each time, the answer was the same: refused.
