Center for legal Research, North South University, in collaboration with the North South University, Department of Law , successfully organized the final paper presentation of the Undergraduate Law Symposium, Spring 2026, on 16 May 2026 at the Moot Court Room (NAC 616). Students from various universities across Bangladesh presented their research papers, showcasing critical thinking and innovative legal perspectives.
The honorable adjudicators of the event were Professor Dr. Md. Sahal Uddin, Chairman, Department of Law and Land Administration, University of Rajshahi; Sumaiya Sultana Ritu, Lecturer, Department of Law & Land Administration, Jagannath University; and Ehsan Mazid Mustafa, Assistant Professor, Law Discipline, Khulna University.
Professor Nasar U. Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor of NSU, graced the event as Special Guest. In his address, Professor Nasar U. Ahmed highlighted that science and law are fundamentally interconnected and emphasized the importance of proper application of law for ensuring transparent governance.
Opening remarks were delivered by Nasmin Jabin Noor, Chair (In-Charge) of the Department of Law. In his concluding remarks, Professor Md. Rizwanul Islam, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, commended the young researchers for their boldness, diligence, and creativity.
NSU Law and the NSU Center for Legal Research extended heartfelt gratitude to all contributors and congratulated the participants for their outstanding efforts, wishing them continued success in their academic and professional journeys.
