We sent Noah to his people:
Do thou warn thy people before there comes to them a grievous .

He said:
O my people! I am to you a Warner, clear and open. That you should worship God, guard against Him, and obey me. So, He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a stated term; for when the term given by God is , it cannot be put forward, if you only knew.

He said:
O my Lord! I have called to my people night and day. But my call only increases flight. And every time I have called to them that Thou might them, they have thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, grown obstinate, and given them up to arrogance. So, I have called to them aloud.
Further, I have spoken to them in public and secretly in private, saying:
"Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send to you in abundance. Give you increase in wealth and sons and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers. What is the matter with you that you do not attribute grandeur to God? And indeed, He created you in diverse stages.
See you not how God has created the Seven Skies one above another and made the a light in their midst and made the as a lamp.
And God has produced you from the earth, growing. And in the end, He will return you into it and raise you forth.
And God has made the for you as a carpet that you may go about therein in spacious roads."

Noah said:
O my Lord! They have disobeyed me, but they follow whose and give them no increase, but only loss. And they have devised a tremendous plot.
And they have said: "―Abandon not your gods; abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa, neither Yaguth nor Yauq nor Nasr." They have already misled many, and grant Thou no increase to the wrongdoers but in straying.
Because of their sins, they were drowned and were made to enter the fire, and they found in lieu of God none to help them.

And Noah said:
O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers, a single one on the land! For, if Thou do leave them, they will but mislead Thy devotees, and they will breed none but wicked ungrateful ones.
O my Lord! me, my parents, all who enter my house in Faith, and believing men and believing women; and to the wrong-doers grant Thou no increase, but in perdition!

শারীরিক আঘাত ঠেকাতে প্রত্যাঘাত করা আত্মরক্ষার অন্তর্ভুক্ত যা আইনের দৃষ্টিতে #অপরাধ হিসেবে গণ্য হবে না।

আত্মরক্ষা মানুষের #জন্মগত অধিকার।
যেকোনো অবৈধ আক্রমণ থেকে নিজের ও অন্যদের দেহ এবং সম্পত্তিকে রক্ষা করা মানুষের #ন্যায্য অধিকার।

যতটুকু বল প্রয়োগ না করলে আক্রমণ প্রতিহত করা সম্ভব নয়, আত্মরক্ষার্থে ঠিক ততটুকুই বল প্রয়োগ করা আইনসম্মত। যেমন, ছিনতাইয়ের মতো তুলনামূলক লঘু অপরাধ প্রতিরোধ করতে গিয়ে #হত্যা করা আইনত দণ্ডনীয়।

#প্রতিশোধ নেয়ার জন্য নয় - আত্মরক্ষার #অধিকার প্রকৃতপক্ষে নিজেকে রক্ষার জন্য।
