Farid Uddin is a barrister of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn (UK), who was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2011. He received a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Skills (BPTC) from the City University London, UK (now renamed City St George's, University of London), and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London. He has obtained a grade of Very Competent (VC)
in Bar Professional Training Course, City University London, and an Upper Second Class (2.1) in LLB, University of London. He has passed all the assessments of his whole legal educations in the very first attempt and with excellence. Subsequently after returning to Bangladesh, he became enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council in 2012 for practising before the Subordinate Courts of Bangladesh, and thereafter he obtained permission to practice before the Hon'ble High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh in 2015. Previously he has worked as an associate with, amongst others, Barrister Rabia Bhuiyan and Barrister Mustafizur Rahman Khan in their respective chambers and at the Supreme Court. Farid Uddin works independently in the Hon’ble High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Farid Uddin has personally represented some well reputed clients including but not limited to GPH ispat Limited, Shah Cement Industries Limited (a concern of Abul Khair Group), PGS etc. before the Hon’ble Courts in Bangladesh. Beside law practice, Barrister Md. Farid Uddin worked as a Part Time faculty for teaching law in Bhuiyan Academy, London College of Legal Studies (South), and BAC International Study Centre. He also worked as a Part Time Faculty for teaching Law in BRAC University from 2020 to 2023. Farid Uddin is doing independent law practice, mainly litigation, in Bangladesh. He is a member of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), Dhaka Bar Association (DBA) and Barristers' Association of Bangladesh (BAB).
