We are delighted to announce that the Barishal University Moot Court Team has secured a place among the Top 16 teams out of 63 participating teams in the Memorial Qualification Round of the upcoming “4th Professor Dr. Khabir Uddin Ahmed National Moot Court Competition 2026”.

The Barishal University Moot Court Society has been conducting regular sessions to teach Mooting from basic to advanced levels. Along with theoretical learning, participants are also being provided with opportunities to participate practically in moot court competitions.

Students who are interested in Mooting are encouraged to attend the regular sessions and develop their skills in the field of Mooting.

# # Already, two sessions have been successfully conducted on the following topics:

1st Session: Basics of Mooting
2nd Session: How to Create a Perfect Memorial

All interested students are requested to participate regularly and make the best use of this learning opportunity.

The Convener Committee of the Moot Court Society, University of Barishal, is pleased to announce that a session will be held on 21 April 2026 at 5:00 PM.

The session will provide a comprehensive introduction to mooting, covering its fundamentals, procedures, and overall structure. Experienced mooters will share their insights and experiences. Additionally, there will be an interactive segment where participants can ask questions and receive detailed guidance on mooting.

💥💥 Note:Participants who have collected the mooting registration form are requested to bring the completed form to the session and submit it accordingly.

Your presence and participation are highly encouraged.

Assalamu Alaikum,

With the aim of sending a team to participate in The 4th Professor Dr. Khabir Uddin Ahmed National Moot Court Competition 2026, the Barishal University Moot Court Society (BUMCS) conducted a viva voce on 05 April 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Based on the marks obtained in the viva, a team consisting of three members has been selected.

BUMCS extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to the selected team members as well as to all students who participated in the viva.

Marks Obtained 28 out of 30.

Marks Obtained 25.5 out of 30.

The results of the observers will be published at a later time.

The selection trial of the team for the upcoming 4th Professor Kabir Uddin Ahmed National Moot Court Competition, 2026 will be held on

A total of two oralists and one researcher will be selected.

বরিশাল ইউনিভার্সিটি মুট কোর্ট সোসাইটির সদস্য সংগ্রহ কার্যক্রম বর্তমানে চলমান।

সকল মুটিং-এ আগ্রহী শিক্ষার্থীদের আনন্দের সাথে জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, প্রতিষ্ঠার মাত্র ৩ মাসের মধ্যেই বরিশাল ইউনিভার্সিটি মুট কোর্ট সোসাইটি সফলভাবে ভাইভা গ্রহনের মাধ্যমে জেস-আপ ২০২৫ প্রতিযোগিতায় টিম প্রেরণ, বিভিন্ন ওয়ার্কশপে অংশগ্রহণের জন্য টিম প্রেরণ, জেস-আপ ও স্টেটশনে ভলান্টিয়ার প্রেরণসহ নিয়মিত টিম গ্রুমিং কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন করেছে।

এরই ধারাবাহিকতায় নতুন সদস্য সংগ্রহ প্রক্রিয়া শুরু হয়েছে। নির্বাচিত সদস্যদের জন্য আহ্বায়ক কমিটির মাধ্যমে নিয়মিত সেশন, ইন্ট্রা মুট কোর্ট প্রতিযোগিতা এবং সার্টিফিকেট প্রদান কর্মসূচি আয়োজন করা হবে।
অতএব, আইন বিভাগের সকল শিক্ষার্থীদের মুট কোর্ট সোসাইটির কার্যক্রমে অংশগ্রহণ করে বিচার অঙ্গনে নিজেদের দক্ষ ও প্রস্তুত করে তোলার জন্য আহ্বান জানানো হচ্ছে।

💥💥💥বিঃদ্রঃ গত বছর আইন বিভাগ থেকে কিছু সদস্য ফর্ম বিতরণ করা হয়েছিল; তবে কমিটি গঠিত না হওয়ায় সে সময় কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা সম্ভব হয়নি। যারা ইতোমধ্যে ফর্ম সংগ্রহ করেছেন, তাদের নতুন করে ফর্ম নেওয়ার প্রয়োজন নেই। তারা আহ্বায়ক কমিটি আয়োজিত সকল কর্মসূচিতে অংশগ্রহণ করে সার্টিফিকেট সংগ্রহের সুযোগ পাবেন।

Fee: BDT 100

Students of the Department of Law must obtain membership of the Society in order to participate regularly in moot court competitions and organizational activities.
Interested students are requested to collect the form within the stipulated time.

Congratulations to the Department of Law team of Barishal University for securing 23rd position out of 49 teams, We also appreciate the contributions of Shahadat Sunny and Zarin Tasnim for maintaining the memorial in the 20th position, as well as Md Sabbir Mahmud for his unwavering cooperation. We're celebrating the outstanding performance of Zarin Tasnim, who secured 16th position among 96 oralists in the National Round of the Jessup Bangladesh Moot Court Competition 2026!

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Zarin Tasnim, Md Sabbir Mahmud and Shahadat Hossain for their exceptional efforts, and special appreciation to Coach Alamgir Hossain Shipon for his guidance and support.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Convener 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶, Member S M Wahidur Rahman and Member Secretary Md Hedayettullah Khan for their invaluable guidance and efforts in making this challenging journey a success.
