Join the AASW ACT Anti-racist Social Work Practice Group for a collaborative learning space for social workers committed to challenging structural racism and strengthening anti-racist practice. 🀝

Through shared learning, critical reflection and discussion, the group will explore racism within social work and develop practical approaches that can be applied across direct practice, policy and organisational settings.

Following the release of the Issues Paper in May, the Tasmania Law Reform Institute is beginning Phase 2 of the consultation process for its review of the Tasmanian Coroners Act 1995. If you've interacted with the coronial system and have some thoughts or feedback, you are welcome to share them, either in:

- an anonymous survey
- an in-person consultation conducted by clinical psychologists from the University of Tasmania’s School of Psychological Sciences and are intended for people who wish to share experiences or information that may not be adequately captured through the TLRI’s other consultation methods.
- a voicemail recording in which people can share their views by calling 6226 2069 and leaving an anonymous voice-recorded message up to 10 minutes long.

Earlier this week, the Joint Consultative Committee on Rural Generalist Medicine (JCCRG) met in Canberra with representation from ACRRM, RACGP, and the National Rural Health Commissioner, reinforcing a shared commitment to Rural Generalist Medicine.
