3 years ago, I took a leap. Today, I sat in a studio recording a CPD seminar. And somewhere in between, I built a life I’m incredibly grateful for. 🤍

Today I was at the UNSW Edge studio recording a CPD seminar on Digital Assets & Wills a fascinating area of succession law that is becoming more important every day.

But behind the camera, I was thinking about something much bigger.

Three years ago, I took the leap to leave the security of working for someone else and start my own law firm.

As a mum to two young girls, it was never just about building a business.

It was about creating something of my own.
Something that gave me purpose. Something that allowed me to be there for my girls. And something I could be proud of them watching me build. 🫶🏻

There have been hard days. Plenty of them.

But then there are days like today.

Days where I get to do work I love, share knowledge, continue learning and contribute to the profession — while building a business and a life around the people who matter most to me.

And I think: this is exactly why I took the jump.

Feeling incredibly blessed, grateful and proud of how far this little leap of faith has taken me. ✨

Three years in. And I’m only getting started.
