POSITION VACANT
We are currently seeking a qualified tradesman to start as soon as possible to join our family run joinery workshop in Fountaindale on the Central Coast.

This is a full-time position being offered.

We are a family run business with over 30 years’ experience in both Residential and Commercial Joinery.
Our projects vary from Residential kitchens to Commercial fit outs around the Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney areas.

*Wages are negotiable for the right applicant.
*Hours of work Monday to Thursday from 7.00am - 3.30pm and Fridays 6.00am - 12.30pm. Some Saturday work and overtime might be required when necessary.

This Role involves:
* Assembling & making cabinets, including fitting hardware and completing manufacture ready for delivery to site
* Being able to read CAD plans, drawings and cutting lists
* Some heavy lifting involved
* Occasionally being required to help with installations onsite

The successful applicant will need to possess the following:
* Drivers Licence
* Be able to work independently as well as part of a friendly team to meet deadlines
* Punctuality is important as well as an impeccable work ethic

When you put on staff there are so many things to consider.
Not just paying wages each week. It's understanding the rules and regulations.
Even knowing cash flow for the super and payg, insurance you need to understand.

Don't forget! There are no payment summaries or group certificates!. I STILL get asked.
We have 2 weeks to finalise STP for every business. Please dont ask your payroll people for it earlier. There has to be checks and balances done first.
Also greet your Payroll staff with wine, coffee, chocolates or flowers this next fortnight. they are going to need them.

If you want the super to be claimed in this financial year cut off is this week. (Unless your Accountant wants you to do otherwise or have advised otherwise).
I always get as much super as possible paid through this week. All my clients want it put through the current year for the claim.
