To truly activate change in our lives, release the excess baggage and move forward, we need to take the brain past its logical mind into the inner depths of our ‘real’ consciousness, that being the subconscious mind. You may think the logical mind CONTROLS the subconscious mind, however it has actually been proven to be the reverse. Whilst the logical mind can hold 7 to 9 pieces of information at
any given time, over the course of your life the subconscious mind will store and process anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000 thoughts, feelings, emotions and memories. This is why no matter how hard we may try to control our logical mind to initiate change, it simply does not work. The subconscious mind holds all the true power; hence why we often have to delve deep into the source to create the changes we are seeking. This is why hypnotherapy has been so effective time and time again. As a child, from birth through to age 7 we have not yet developed a logical mind. So essentially every thought, feeling and emotion we experience (including those of our parents and family members) is ingrained into our subconscious mind like a big absorbent sponge. This is where a lot of our negative conditioning can arise, especially as these negative beliefs are passed from generation to generation creating an almost hereditary energy. This is why a lot of families create the same circumstances from generation to generation; because the negative cycle has been passed along through the patterns of thought. It is only once these negative and often outdated views and beliefs have been released that the cycle will end, and true growth and personal progress can be reached. This progress is yet another step in the right direction of what everyone wants to achieve: true happiness. How does one define hypnotherapy and what is its purpose? HYPNOTHERAPY is a dream like state during which you still maintain a level of awareness. However your logical mind has temporally been shut down in order for you to access and participate in the sector of your subconscious mind. Once I have taken you into a light trance and your logical mind has been ‘pushed aside’ temporarily, I can then guide you to help release any unwanted thoughts, feelings and habits that are holding you back in your day to day living. Once we have performed therapy on these issues and feelings, we can then program positive and enlightening thoughts and habits into your mind. Due to the Law of Attraction, once we have changed our internal dialogue, our self-esteem and relationship with our inner self will change, creating an automatic chain reaction leading to more positive and happy relationships with others. Your brain serves to protect you and ensure your survival, so if you have experienced abuse, trauma or have just noticed unwanted reoccurring negative ‘scripts’ replaying through your mind, hypnotherapy could be the answer for you. The main ingredient to promote change within your life is YOU! You have to NEED and WANT to change your life. Sounds simple enough, but if you are honestly content being miserable and don’t have any real desire to improve or take responsibility, then hypnotherapy is not the answer for you. The reason being is that the brain is incredibly powerful and it truly knows what is in your best interests. Therefore, if you attempt hypnotherapy half-heartedly, you will most likely experience a half-hearted result. Please understand that YOU are the one in control, I am just there to guide you and assist in making the changes you require. IN SUMMARY
