The Dante Alighieri Society, Brisbane and Margi Pizza invite you to:
BELLA CIAO! An afternoon of pizza, musica e cultura in the park.

25 April from 12pm
Lyons Playground Park, 25 Paradise St, Highgate Hill

Get your hands on the dough and learn the secrets of pizza making!
You need to bring:
– Your favourite pizza toppings
– Drinks
– A chair or picnic blanket

Tickets $30 (children 5-12 $12, under 5s free)

EXCITING NEW SHORT COURSE (circolo) at intermediate/advanced level, on Italian art, coming soon:
“L’Italia nascosta: capolavori oltre i soliti nomi”, run by Sara Bologna.
It will be on Monday afternoons, 3-4.30, on 30 March, 20 April, 4 May and 18 May.

Grazie di cuore to Dr Daragh O’Connell for such an illuminating and engaging talk. A fascinating exploration of Dante's experience of exile from Florence and how his encounters with the courts of central and northern Italy shaped his understanding of political power and his ideology represented in the Divine Comedy.
