The assessing authority for this occupation is the Vocational Education & Training Assessment Service (VETASSESS).

1. The Australian Immi App is Expanding! 🌏📲
Great news for applicants worldwide! The Australian Immi App is now available in 13 new countries, bringing the total to 47!
New countries include: Albania, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Ghana, Lesotho, Nepal, Somalia (third-country nationals), Sri Lanka, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.

✅ Key Benefit: You can now submit your biometrics (photo and passport info) directly from your phone! This often means you can skip the trip to a biometric collection centre. How convenient is that?

2. Important Update for Training Visa (subclass 407) Applicants! 📝
Heads up to all future trainees and sponsors! The application process for the Training visa has changed.
What's new? As of March 11, 2026, your sponsor and nomination must be approved before you can submit your visa application. Concurrent applications are no longer possible.

⚠️ Crucial: Applications lodged without these prior approvals will be invalid. If you're in Australia, make sure you maintain a valid visa while you wait.
