The Department of Home Affairs has released the updated Visa Application Charges.
New application charges:
* Partner Visa (820/801, 309/100): $11,710
* New Zealand Citizen (Family Relationship): $1,330
* Student Visa (500): $2,500
* Temporary Graduate Visa (485): $5,750
* Skills in Demand Visa (482): $4,015
* Employer Nomination Scheme (186): $6,140
* Skilled Independent Visa (189): $6,135
* Skilled Nominated Visa (190): $6,140
* Skilled Work Regional Visa (491): $6,140
* Working Holiday Visa (417): $1,000
* Work and Holiday Visa (462): $1,000
* Bridging Visa B (020): $575
These updated charges apply to new applications lodged from 1 July 2026. The increases affect almost every major migration pathway, making careful planning more important than ever for prospective applicants.
