It's time for the last public holiday before Christmas!

Our office will be closed on Monday, 5 October 2026 and we'll be back from 9:00am on Tuesday, 6 October 2026.

If you have employees working over the long weekend, don't forget to check your payroll for any penalty rates that might apply. And if you're taking the day off, enjoy the downtime before we head into the festive season! 🏝️

🎡 It's that time of the year again - Show time! 🎇

We'll be enjoying a long weekend, with our office closing on Friday, 17 July 2026 for the Cairns Show public holiday.

We will be back in the office from 9:00am on Monday, 20 July 2026.

Don't forget, if you have employees working this public holiday, penalty rates might apply. Be sure to check your employment agreements, Award, or Enterprise Agreement, for the correct rates of pay.

Today our team had a visit from an AHRI Travelling Bear!

After taking a few selfies with the team, he was on his way to another workplace!

Ahead of International HR Day on 20 May 2026, the Australian HR Institute has a number of Travelling Bears circulating throughout Australia, visiting HR practitioners and showing appreciation for the work they do!
