I recently received a subclass 820 grant for one of my clients. The case was quite complex as the applicant has overstayed his visa for number of years. He has been unlawful ever since.

After 9 months of sweat and tears and painful wait, I am so honoured to be the person to deliver the good news. He is now lawful, as a subclass 820 visa holder and will be eligible for the permanent visa next year.

He is able to go back to his home country to visit his parents and siblings. As well as, introducing his Australian life partner to his family next month. The sponsor was in tears when she received the visa grant for her partner.

No more worries for them if the applicant going to get caught by the immigration and be in the detention. No more worries that the applicant can’t be there for his old age parents at home because he can’t travel outside Australia. No more worries that he cannot work and help his partner with the expenses.

💖He can now chase whatever dreams he has!

There are times that are very stressful for me as an RMA (and those who are close to me know that I have had few rough patches personally). But when I sit quietly and thinking of how my work has changed the life of so many people, I am very grateful for that capability. I will continue to keep my high standard to give my clients the best outcomes.

Friday Afternoon Grant! Another success story 😄
This student has a Bachelor's degree qualification and has over 2 years of work experience in her field of study. We managed to obtain a student visa for her to come to Australia for a year to improve her English language skills.

I welcome the new student to the land down under and I am sure she will enjoy the Australian summertime and 50+++ sunscreens 😂

Mid-week Hooray! Positive Skills Assessment for Taxation Accountant. For skilled visa applicants, we take care of you from lodging skills assessment, EOI, Nomination and Visa Application.

Subclass 189/190/491 are very technical, trust me on this. I have seen many people claim wrong points on their EOI and submitted the visa application which later on can cause you huge trouble. Please consult a Registered Migration Agent for their advice. That would be the safest way to ensure all the $$$ you spent and all the sweat and tears you have gone through to get a golden ticket to PR are worth the efforts you put in over the years.

Talking about positive vibes! Starting my week with a visa grant! This student is coming to Australia to study English. 🤓

His highest qualification is Bachelor's Degree and he has been working in the field where he graduated for several years. 🤩

Who says bachelor's graduates cannot come here to study and improve their English language skills? If they can provide the genuine reasons...I don't see why they cannot come here.

LOL, okay... "I welcome the new student to the land of drunks and flies"!!!!

Yes, we Aussies love our booze, as much as my fellow Thais.

The best tips I can give is to consult with a Registered Migration Agent. We are regulated under Australian laws and we have our code of conduct that needs to be followed.

Okay...let me be honest with you. No one has control over the Delegates of when will they pick up your application and make the decision. The very best we can do is to prep a strong application and follow up if the expected processing time has passed.

Look we are as frustrated with the slow processing time as much as the clients do. However, we are certain that all the applications we put forward are of the highest quality. When you see a positive result after a long wait, this just really makes my Friday so much more joyful! Let's talk about Skills Assessment!

It is compulsory that the candidate must have a positive skills assessment outcome from the relevant authority for your occupation for the skilled visa subclass 189/190/491. Without the Skills Assessment Outcome, you cannot submit an EOI.

Finally, the wait is over! I am overly happy for my client. We had many struggles along the way and we have overcome each issue together as a team. The client is a Sri Lankan passport holder. That is probably enough said of what has happened in Sri Lanka and its economic situation just push this country to a high-risk category. The university has given us a hard time having to complete the statement of purpose before issuing the CoE. Not mentioning the deposit amount for the course is higher than other countries passport holders.

However, we worked with the student to polish the statement according to the GTE requirements and I must say that this statement of purpose is very comprehensive. The wait is long for Sri Lankan students but when you receive a positive outcome like this, all your efforts and patience will be all worth it! Never lose your hopes and dreams.

After the Department has been quiet for a long-time with the decisions. There are also rumours going around that the refusal rates are high for Thai students. For the student visa, the decision highly depends on the Case Officer's discretion. However, we are proud of our service being super helpful to students and advising the courses that they should study to excel in their future careers in the long run. To all GSM visas candidates,
I always encourage clients to aim for subclass 190/491 visa. Though subclass 189 is the best one to obtain as you will not have the obligation to the state. Since Queensland has just opened and released the eligibility criteria but the points competition for 189 is super high,

Today, I'd like to show some of the interesting facts for 491 onshore applicants.
📨 You must live and work within one of the following postcodes to be eligible for the 491 Regional visa: Postcodes are 4019–4022, 4025, 4037, 4074, 4076–4078, 4124–4125, 4133, 4183–4184, 4207–4275, 4280–4287, 4300–4301, 4303–4498, 4500–4512, 4514–4519, 4521, 4550–4575, 4580–4895.
📨 Must have over 65 points
📨 Must have at least Proficient English (Except for Trade Occupations)
📨 Medium-Term and Short-Term occupation lists are eligible for onshore folks. Offshore folks must have the occupations under QSOL
📨 Have been living and working full-time in regional areas over the past 3 months (minimum) in your nominated occupation before submitting EOI
📨 There are some caveats for selected occupations
Accountants (General)
- Only applicants employed in an accounting firm will receive an invitation
- must be a CPA or CA, or are studying towards becoming a CPA or CA.
Internal and External Auditors
- must have a job as an Auditor (not an Accountant).
Cooks and Chefs
- No takeaway or fast-food businesses.
📨 Commit to living and working in Queensland for 3 years for the 491 from visa grant
📨 491 Visa allows nominated skilled workers to live and work in regional Queensland for 5 years and is a pathway to permanent residency

190/491 GSM Visa Allocations for 2022-23 have been released. Each State and Territory has their own requirements for the nomination application. And I can tell you guys one thing...It is extremely competitive to get the invitation for GSM visa both for onshore and offshore applicants because subclass 190/491 are permanent visas or offer a pathway to your Australian PR. Without proper planning, it is impossible to compete with the points and meet the specific requirements to get the invitation.
