It was a pleasure to attend the Student Careers Fair at the University of Manchester this weekend following an invitation in my capacity as Managing Partner of Arkhurst & Abdellah Solicitors.

I had the privilege of meeting many talented and ambitious law students. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to learn were truly inspiring.

Many of the conversations centred around career pathways, opportunities, and how students can best prepare themselves for the transition from academic study to professional practice.

These discussions reinforced why I founded Born Legals Academy – to help bridge the gap between education and the legal profession, and to support aspiring lawyers as they prepare for successful careers.

A sincere thank you to the University of Manchester and the management team for their warm welcome and for hosting such a well-organised and valuable event.

I also extend my thanks to all the law students who took the time to visit the Born Legals Academy stand, to share their aspirations, and engage in such thoughtful conversations.

The future of the legal profession is bright, and I look forward to following the journeys of many of the future lawyers I met this weekend.
