After an incredible few years of supporting my Saudi and Middle East clients with Corporate Legal Services, I’m truly humbled to receive this recognition from the City St George’s, University of London British Council UAE This milestone means so much not just personally, but as a reflection of the trust my clients have placed in me. Had an incredible time training and engaging with super inspiring and deeply engaging group of women leaders from corporates to development sectors, from across Pakistan at the Women Leadership Program: Breaking the Glass Ceiling, held at Avari Lahore on April 17–18, 2025, Lahore.

I had the privilege of speaking about key women’s rights laws in Pakistan, covering everything from maternity and paternity leave, workplace harassment, inheritance, maintenance and custody, and protections against domestic violence. We also explored essential legal distinctions and entitlements, including the difference between resignation and termination, Khula and Talaq, the constitutional rights of women, their right to be represented on corporate boards and the legal safeguards available under the Anti-Harassment Law.

A big thank you to the program leads Dr. Jawad Syed and Faiza Ali, PhD for creating such a dynamic and inclusive space for leadership development.
